More findings from Nektarios in Greece:
”I have found a very interesting resource: It is a Euridice report (done in 2009) titled: ”Arts and Cultural Education at School in Europe”. The report summarizes the status of arts and cultural education in all European counties and has an annex of country reports that describe the situation in each country.
The English version of the report can be found at:
http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/education%20/Eurydice/documents/thematic_reports/113EN.pdf
The zip file with the national reports can be found at:
http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/education%20/Eurydice/documents/thematic_reports/118EN.zip
If you want to find other versions of the report and further support material you may visit the page at: http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/education%20/Eurydice/thematic_reports_en.php and scroll to the section “Arts and Cultural Education at School in Europe”
The national report for Greece in the above Euridice report is very accurate and reflects the current situation. So I assume that it would be OK if we use it for the purpose of Output 1 along with the actual curricula of the arts related courses in Primary School.
